The word, temptation, generally refers to something that is not particularly good.

December 25, 2017 - Pete Garcia
As we enjoy this Christmas Season, it is fitting for Christian households and churches to focus on the first coming of Jesus Christ. In times past, and perhaps not so much anymore, one could see the manger scenes in town squares and in front of churches of all denominations. Christmas cards bearing the Star or the three Wisemen are passed amongst believers during this season.  Preachers preach predominantly from Matthew 1-2, churches hold cantatas and the sounds of “peace on earth, good will toward men” fill the ears of believers round the world. Bethlehem, Israel becomes the focus of world stage once again, as Christian’s flock to the Church of the Nativity which is currently held hostage by the Palestinian movement.
The Church's Cozying to Islam      Average Rank of 4.88 Stars
Israel - Middle East
December 22, 2017 - Alf Cengia
In many cases the Church's cozying to Islam appears to be proportional to its disdain of Israel and Zionism. Of course, not every church falls into this category. But it is becoming fashionable. Some resources now report a decline in evangelical support for Israel in America.
A Singular Celebration      Average Rank of 4.87 Stars

December 20, 2017 - Wendy Wippel
Of all the  principle players in the Christmas Story, the most enigmatic, in my humble opinion, is Simeon. The guy who was in charge, at the time, of circumcision for new male additions to the Jewish Tribe. The Bible calls him just and devout, waiting for the  consolation of Israel, otherwise known as the Messiah. Kind of a mysterious fellow too, because one look at the  newborn Jesus and he says, “I can depart in peace”.

Prophecy - Signs
December 18, 2017 - Pete Garcia
I know I know…I’m supposed to write a Christmas article because it’s the Monday before Christmas and that’s what’s on everyone’s mind. And I will…I promise, but in more of a roundabout way. As ironic as it seems, in the season when everyone focuses on the birth that changed history forever, I find myself thinking about death.
President Trump Recognizes Israel's Biblical Capital      Average Rank of 4.92 Stars
Israel - Middle East
December 15, 2017 - Alf Cengia
President Trump Recognizes Israel's Biblical Capital. And the world rejoices for Israel at this momentous occasion.
Sexual Harassment in the Bible      Average Rank of 4.67 Stars
Perspective on the News
December 14, 2017 - J.L. Robb
Joseph was handsome, young, well-built, prosperous and lived in a home of luxury. In the political world, he was admired by the ruling party and respected by the opposition. It seemed that everything Joseph touched turned to gold. Life was good, and he rubbed elbows with the richest of the rich.
Celebrating the Original Overcomer      Average Rank of 4.66 Stars
In Defense of the Faith
December 13, 2017 - Wendy Wippel
A member of a different church than I go to has posted, for the rest of us, a cautionary warning as we prepare to celebrate the birth of the Savior.  In short, we shouldn’t. I can’t quite agree with her, as the Savior that we worship at Christmas set the standard we need to follow.
The Land of Milk, Honey, and a Very Heavy Stone      Average Rank of 4.94 Stars
Prophecy - Signs
December 11, 2017 - Pete Garcia
Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him. Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions. Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age. But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” Genesis 15:12-16
A Blessed Christ-Centered Christmas      Average Rank of 4.78 Stars

December 08, 2017 - Alf Cengia
I can't recall having written a column about Christmas before. So I'm feeling somewhat jittery. During this time, people tend to get into heated arguments and debates about Christmas. Regardless of anything I say there will be someone somewhere who disagrees.
O Jerusalem      Average Rank of 4.87 Stars
Israel - Middle East
December 07, 2017 - J.L. Robb
A year after I was born, Israel was reborn. At age 1, I did not have a clue to the significance of May 14, 1948 nor did I know of the numerous Biblical predictions of Israel’s return to center stage.
The Gates of Hell      Average Rank of 4.94 Stars
Globalism - Ecumenism
December 04, 2017 - Pete Garcia
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
The Lost Honor of John Nelson Darby      Average Rank of 4.64 Stars
In Defense of the Faith
December 01, 2017 - Alf Cengia
My title "The lost honor of John Nelson Darby" was inspired from a British T.V. drama called, "The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies." It was based on a true account. Unlike Darby's story, that drama had nothing to with Bible prophecy.
