Homosexual Lobby Wins Big In California
Two Bills Give Special Status to Homosexual 'Families'

There are two bills currently in the California legislature that are aimed directly at Californians who hold religious convictions that are expected to both pass the legislature and be signed into law by California governor Gray Davis. Under AB 1080, any business entering into a contract with the state of California would be required to offer domestic-partner benefits equal to those offered to married spouses.
California's already weakened economy could be further undermined if religious hospitals, health care facilities, and business owners are forced to choose between violating their beliefs and getting or keeping a contract with the state.
Another bill, AB 2651, also seeks to implement radical pro-gay policies, this time in the foster care system.
All foster parents would be required to attend "sensitivity training" and could even be reported to a statewide hot line if they refuse to affirm the sexual choices of the children in their care.
Homosexual couples would be given priority as potential foster parents, while parents with religious convictions could be eliminated from the system -- denying many of the 115,000 children currently in the California foster care system the chance to have a loving home with a mother and a father.
Both bills are currently in the Senate Appropriations committee and are expected to pass in the Senate and would go to Gray Davis to be signed in mid to late August.
"Intolerance has reared its ugly head in California once again," said Tom Minnery, vice president of public policy for Focus on the Family. "AB 1080 and AB 2651 are just more examples of the state legislature's clear intention to force its views down the throats of those who hold religious convictions. Putting humanitarian organizations out of business and preventing needy children from a good home is undeniable proof of the great lengths California's lawmakers will go to in order to promote their own pro-gay agenda."
If you want to do business with the state, you must hire homosexuals -- regardless of how you feel about it. And, you have to pay to extend domestic-partner benefits equal to those offered to married spouses.
If you live in California, when this law passes, your right to operate your own business according to your personal convictions is rescinded.
As incredible as that seems, it pales by comparison to the foster-parent provisions. Foster parents must attend 'sensitivity training' [which is a euphemism for brainwashing someone into believing homosexuality is a natural, alternative lifestyle].
I say 'brainwashing' because if it really were a 'natural, alternative lifestyle' then we WOULDN'T NEED LAWS or sensitivity training to tell us that.
I know of no US legislature considering passing laws promoting sensitivity training to teach homosexuals why heterosexuals think homosexuality is wrong.
Or any sensitivity programs to help homosexuals understand what is good about being a Christian.
In California, under AB 2651, children in foster care will be placed in homosexual 'homes' as a first priority.
Foster parents with religious convictions may find themselves ineligible to serve. And any who survive the first cut will have to deal with the hotline.
Just in case some nine-year old in their care comes to them and says "I think I am gay," and they make the mistake of not saying "Congratulations!"
And if a foster parent were to say, "homosexuality is wrong", well, the child can call the state hotline and let the government handle this 'criminal'.
So, the state of California is enshrining into law a dictum to the effect that children from abusive homes, orphans, the crack babies, the abandoned, the unwanted and unloved, will be placed with homosexuals as a first priority.
Heterosexual couples with no religious convictions come next. [Maybe Dr. Newdow?]
Heterosexual couples who believe in the traditional family and the principles of child-rearing ordained by God need not even apply. California's children don't need you.
The Bible speaks of a new social order for the last days. A social order that celebrates all that is depraved about humanity and that despises all that is of God.
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." [2 Timothy 3:1-5]
"From such turn away..." If you follow that advice in California, you stand to lose either your business or your kids.
