The Death of Atheism
Globalism - Ecumenism
Monday, February 27, 2012
Pete Garcia

The fool has said in his heart, ''There is no God.''
They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.  (Proverbs 14:1 NKJV)

With the world’s most famous atheist publically confessing that he doesn’t know whether God exists or not, an ominous mile-marker can be made about where we are in relation to the last days.

Atheism is seen as increasingly unreasonable in today’s marketplace of ideas due to the growing amount of evidence saying otherwise.  Even now, an increasing number of people are claiming that they are ‘spiritual’, which allows them the freedom to remain non-committal about Jesus Christ without completely coming off as obtuse, about the possibility that something is out there.

By the way, most people who claim to be atheist are really agnostics trying to sound rational and educated.  But in order for one to be a 100% full-fledged atheist, one would have to have an infinite working knowledge of everything in the universe in order to definitively state, that God doesn't exist.  And if the world’s smartest atheist can’t make that statement, neither can they.

Think about it this way though; Richard Dawkins recent public confession would be tantamount to theological heavyweight evangelical Pastor John MacArthur, publically stating that he’s not entirely sure that there is a God.  What would the ramifications of such a statement be within the Christian community?

A century ago, it was relativity easy for men like Friedrich Nietzsche, Bertrand Russell, and Jean-Paul Sartre to make bombastic statements that God didn’t exist.  They spouted off unsubstantiated claims such as ‘God is dead’ and religion is the cause of all mankind’s’ problems and millions of people bought into this lie.  It helped spawn the existentialist movement, Nihilism, and became the theological backbone for evolutionary science.  Atheism shrouded itself in the cloak of academia and science, and definitively helped make the 20th century the bloodiest on record.

Historical side-note: source

It has been estimated that in less than the past 100 years, governments under the banner of communism have caused the death of somewhere between 40,472,000 to 259,432,000 human lives. Dr. R. J. Rummel, professor emeritus of political science at the University of Hawaii, is the scholar who first coined the term democide (death by government). Dr. R. J. Rummel's mid estimate regarding the loss of life due to communism is that communism caused the death of approximately 110,286,000 people between 1917 and 1987.

And what is the ideology/theology of Communism?  Atheism.

Quoting Dinesh D’Souza:

As one writer put it, “Leaders such as Stalin and Mao persecuted religious groups, not in a bid to expand atheism, but as a way of focusing people’s hatred on those groups to consolidate their own power.” Of course I agree that murderous regimes, whether Christian or atheist, are generally seeking to strengthen their position. But if Christian regimes are held responsible for their crimes committed in the name of Christianity, then atheist regimes should be held accountable for their crimes committed in the name of atheism. And who can deny that Stalin and Mao, not to mention Pol Pot and a host of others, all committed atrocities in the name of a Communist ideology that was explicitly atheistic? Who can dispute that they did their bloody deeds by claiming to be establishing a “new man” and a religion-free utopia? These were mass murders performed with atheism as a central part of their ideological inspiration, they were not mass murders done by people who simply happened to be atheist.

But their (men like Nietzsche, Russell, and Sartre) arrogance and ignorance was in large part, due to the lack of archeological, technological, and historical information available to us today.  In other words, they put forth untested and untenable philosophical (Will to Power) and scientific theories (Eugenics and Evolution) as truth, which clearly, history has shown us otherwise.  We can see how an atheistic philosophy has shaped our recent past:

“When Adolf Hitler first met Benito Mussolini, he presented him with a gift of the collected works of Nietzsche. It was an appropriate memento. Hitler's ideas about life and politics were largely derived from Nietzsche. Hitler subscribed to the Nietzschean idea that superior people have an inborn right to rule.” William Kirkpatrick

Atheism, has failed in every society it has been thrust upon and ALWAYS brings about destruction and misery.  Why?  Because it offers nothing, and takes everything.  To quote on the abject failure that 70 years of communism had wrought on the Russian people, Nobel Prize winner Alexander Solzhenitsyn said:

"If I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible that main cause of the ruinous revolution that swallowed up some 60 million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: 'Men had forgotten God; that is why all this has happened.'"

We have finally approached an age, when even the most hardened skeptic cannot definitively claim that there is no God.  Now, he/she may not believe in the God of the Bible, or in Jesus Christ, but they can’t deny the supernatural like they could even a century ago.  The supernatural and unexplainable have significantly ramped up since the end of World War II.  What was significant about then?  Israel became a nation again.  Beginning on November 29, 1947, the United Nations Partition Plan went into effect, and ended in May 14, 1948, when Israel declared herself a nation again.  What Satan intended for bad through his man Hitler, whose goal was to rid the world of Jews, helped reestablish a united Jewish nation of Israel again after a 2700 year absence.

"I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive." (John 5:43 NKJV)

But things have sped up since then.  Technology and apostasy have been on overdrive because now, at this stage in the game, Satan, and his man the Antichrist do not need skeptics…they need believers.  What they don’t want are Christian, Jewish, Moslem, Hindu, or Atheist fundamentalists.  They need people who will be wooed by signs, wonders, and the possibility that they too can become gods.  Atheism’s usefulness is wearing thin.

At some future point, a powerful delusion will be given, which will overrule man’s logic and reason to accept that all the world’s problems are somehow connected with Christians, Jews, and the God of the Bible.

This man of the world, the Antichrist will have the solution to the world’s economic, geo-political, and religious problems that have plagued mankind since the Tower of Babel.  His methods and solutions will prove to be so effective, that they (the world) are willing to worship him and embrace the Dragon in his final attempt at uniting mankind against God.  At this point, he (the Antichrist) will not need a bunch of ‘free-thinkers’; his needs demand he be worshipped.

I say Richard Dawkins confession is fitting that it should surface now; because it is becoming increasingly more difficult for people to claim that the supernatural doesn’t exist.

Taking the God argument aside, too many people have seen or heard the unexplainable: UFOs, ghosts, strange sounds, mass animal deaths, and paranormal activity, to absolutely rule out that there is an existence beyond our realm.  Even within science, there is new inventions and technologies that seemed inconceivable even a decade or so ago, yet, are accepted as scientifically feasible today.  Atheism is dying off, but don’t take my word for it: (Source)

Many antichrists have come, and many have tried to bring the whole world in under their control.  They might have even succeeded in controlling large areas, but none have been able to garner global worship on the level that this coming Antichrist will be able too.  So as we leave the Age of Information and enter into the Age of Signs and Wonders, the next species facing extinction will be the human atheist.  If they will not worship Jesus Christ as Lord now, they will bow to Satan’s man the Antichrist during the Tribulation.

Even the title of this article, “The Death of Atheism” might on the surface appear to be bombastic.  Certainly, I can’t make a statement like that in a vacuum based solely off of Richard Dawkins personal assessment.  But according to the Bible, there is coming a day when those left here on earth after the Rapture will all be forced to believe in something.

Speaking of the Antichrist (the Beast), John records:

"All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."  (Revelation 13:8)
