Europe at a Crossroads
November 20, 2015 - Commentary on the News
On multiple occasions in prior columns, I've used my past rat problems as an analogy to home-grown terrorism. I'll spare you the convoluted details and revisit the shorter version.
Paris is Burning
November 16, 2015 - Commentary on the News
I am putting my series of the Chronicles of Eternity on hold for a week, in order to address what transpired in Paris last Friday and what it means for us today.  Having spent previous articles on the Hegelian Dialectic and the fact that Satan currently controls the narrative and maneuverings here on earth, I can’t help but see the angle he is using for the continued barbarism of Islam.
My Pastor and Ashley Madison
October 01, 2015 - Commentary on the News
The Book of Daniel is certainly one of the great books of prophecy, if not the best. Daniel did a lot of dreaming and a lot of dream interpretation. He was blessed with a gift of predicting the future last days through his remarkable visions. The book was written around 530 BC by Daniel after Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, conquered the Jewish people and took most of the remaining Jews captive, back to Babylon (Iraq). Ten of the twelve tribes of Israel had been lost, possibly through assimilation, 200 years earlier when captured by Assyria.
Karma or Godís Discipline?
September 17, 2015 - Commentary on the News
Is the world being Karmalized? Until I started really believing in God, I thought all paybacks by nature were the result of Karma. Everyone seemed to use the term whenever someone would suffer tragedy, or in some cases, receive excessive rewards or tribute. Karma seemed to happen to us, yet we were not aware it was happening at all. It sometimes takes years to realize you have been Karmalized.
Everything Is Under Control
August 28, 2015 - Commentary on the News
Before I became a Market Analyst for the company I worked for, I was in Sales and Customer Service. Just prior to being taken over by a much larger competitor we operated like a small well-oiled machine. The company which took us over recognized these traits and offered my boss the privilege of being the Australian Sales Manager for a number of their products. That was a major pat on the back for us.
Supreme Court or Supreme Being?
August 20, 2015 - Commentary on the News
Remember the United States before the Supreme Court of the United States became God for we the people? One would have to go back to pre-1962 history in order to find such a world. Is this what the Founders of our great nation wanted, a god to replace God?
Weíve Lost Some Angels this Year
July 30, 2015 - Commentary on the News
Her name was Jeanette, and she was born two days before Christmas of 1922. Married 66 years it appears to have been love-at-first-sight, at least according to the following quote from her husband.
Did God make Mistakes?
April 30, 2015 - Commentary on the News
Have you heard of The Christian Left? Me either. At least not until this week when I saw a post on social media allegedly by this group out of Portland, Oregon. The meme of someone washing someone else’s feet went like this:
President Obama Vs Israel
March 27, 2015 - Commentary on the News
Everyone is saying that Mr. Obama lost his first election after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was swept back into power. The U.S. president has never been comfortable with conceding defeat or admitting that he's wrong. Of course, he's not doing either of these things now.
If It Feels Good, Do It
March 19, 2015 - Commentary on the News
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition…”~ 2 Thessalonians 2:3  KJV
The Dead Parrot Returns
February 20, 2015 - Commentary on the News
The persistent denials that ISIS is connected to Islam; that anti-Israelism is connected to anti-Semitism; that Jews are being directly targeted because they're Jewish, that Iran really is a terrorist state, all remind me of the Monty Python's Dead Parrot skit.
High Horses and Low Blows
February 12, 2015 - Commentary on the News
It’s tough riding a high horse every day as I go about my Christian terrorism of writing about God and His many wonders, and mysteries. I don’t know how to ride a horse, though I did it one time on Rosarita Beach in Mexico. I think I scared the poor horse, as tight as I was holding on; because the only way it would run is for the little Mexican boy to chase it. Then one lady’s hair piece fell off (this was 1969), and the horse ate it. True story.
The Hermit Kingdom
February 09, 2015 - Commentary on the News
North Korea is an isolated nation, ruled by a series of short, squatty dictators by the name of Kim.  The Kim’s are revered by their people as being god-like.  Of course, this reverence doesn’t come naturally, it’s a mix between an extremely relentless propaganda campaign, coupled with the threat of extreme pain and violence.  The violence isn’t limited to just the supposed perpetrator of said crime, but also to that person’s family and extended family.
In the Name of Allah
May 16, 2014 - Commentary on the News
The Obama administration's inability to classify blatant terrorists and/or terrorism appears to be an ingrained malady. Its treatment of the Benghazi tragedy during an election campaign was one of convenience in which the narrative that terrorism was albeit dead had to be strictly maintained.
The Girls of Boko Haram
May 15, 2014 - Commentary on the News
''Western education is sinful.'' That’s what the name Boko Haram means in the Hausa language of northern Nigeria. The group, founded in 2002 by Mohammed Yusuf, Boko Haram is one group of Muslims who hate the ruling Muslims and want to overthrow the government. The Bible had this to say about the interrelationships among the Muslims and this passage describes the personality of the father of Islam, Ismael.
Auld Lang Syne
January 02, 2014 - Commentary on the News
I am so proud of myself!! So far I’ve kept both New Year’s resolutions. Well, if I don’t count dessert last night. But it was a holiday and doesn’t count.
A Duck Dynasty Christmas
December 19, 2013 - Commentary on the News
''Christ-Mass Day, the old Heathens Feasting Day, in honor to Saturn their Idol-God, the Papists Massing Day, the Profane Man’s Ranting Day, the Superstitious Man’s Idol Day, The Multitudes Idle Day, Satan’s – that Adversary’s – Working Day. Taking to heart the heathenish customs, Popish superstitions, ranting fashions, fearful provocations, horrible abominations, committed against the Lord, and His Christ, on that day and days following …'' ~ Hezekiah Woodward, 1656 English minister
Itís Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
November 21, 2013 - Commentary on the News
Fifty years ago my mom just couldn’t believe that some folk would decorate their homes during Thanksgiving. It was way too early. We loved it as kids, because driving around to check out the decorations was a major social event, our Facebook so to speak.
Waiting at the Speed of Fright
May 27, 2013 - Commentary on the News
Take your pick; it only takes about five minutes of reading the days’ headlines to invoke several emotions, often many at the same time. There is not a lot of time to really process everything that is going on.  More often than not, it’s a decision of where to spend ones time.  Simpler days are sometimes a welcome relief.
Tornado Airbags and Sequestration
May 23, 2013 - Commentary on the News
In 1951 when I was 4 years old, I fell out of the car.  No wise-cracks please.  My friends think that’s what’s wrong with me!
Who in the World is Ben Gazzi?
May 16, 2013 - Commentary on the News
I listen to a lot of talk-radio.  It started in 1955, when my Great Aunt Ada gave me the latest electronic device of the time, a transistor radio.  It was bright green and the size of a briefcase, but I was the only kid in the 5th grade with a transistor radio.
God Bless the BSA
April 11, 2013 - Commentary on the News
Chipotle Mexican Grill has cancelled its Great Salt Lake Council's Utah Scout-O-Rama fundraiser due to the controversy surrounding the Boy Scouts of America's ban on gay leaders and scouts.  The restaurant chain was to provide food coupons, according to the The Salt Lake Tribune.
Russia to the Rescue
March 23, 2013 - Commentary on the News
As Cyprus teeters on the edge of a chaotic bankruptcy it doesn’t take a genius to speculate who will be riding to its rescue.
You Have To Pass The Bill To Find Out What's In It. . .
February 13, 2013 - Commentary on the News
The Internal Revenue Service has issued its calculations for how Obamacare will affect the poorest Americans, exposing the system for the total fraud that it is.  Assuming, of course, that the ACTUAL intent was to make health care available to all Americans.
Nothing Up My Sleeve. . .
February 09, 2013 - Commentary on the News
In fiction, when a president takes 'executive action' it generally indicates that what is about to happen is necessary, but illegal.  Like in the old Mission Impossible TV series, where the mission is so 'sensitive' that if any of the agents are caught, the 'Secretary will disavow your actions'.
