Put It Back On
Nancy Pelosi inadvertently provided an insight into her somewhat flighty reign as Speaker of the House when she told reporters one of her favorite moments from Inauguration Day was when Marine One lifted off the Capitol grounds, signifying former President George W. Bush’s exit from Washington.
“It felt like a 10-pound anvil was lifted off my head,” she said.

Thanks, Jack! I needed that laugh SO much! Between the title and the picture - I couldn’t stop laughing long enough to type! Now that I’ve taken my “merry heart” medicine for today, I’ll get back to work!

I wonder how many folks thought if only she had given the anvil to President Bush and as he flew over Pelosi’s head the helicopters window opens and—–well you get the picture. Besides it would have messed up a perfectly good anvil ;they are hard to come by ya know
