This is an interesting comment:
"This is heart-wrenching for all Americans," Wexler said. "But the issue before this Congress is not an emotional one. It's simply one that respects the rule of law."
Whose law? Man's or God's? And since when is the putting to death of an innocent person not emotional? Isn't all life precious in the sight of our Lord? Isn't Terry's life equally important, even though at this particular time she is incapacitated? Does she respond to stimuli? Can she tell her mother she loves her for standing by her? Can she tell her husband to take his mits off the checkbook and get a divorce if he is so anxious to be rid of her...or is it about money...or the love of money? Or is it the overriding determination to render life negotiable by the one who would inspire others to treachery?
Jack is right on target about the bottom line being the struggle spilling out of heaven into this world, of evil against good.
We know who wins. That it is redeming thought here, for me.
God will honor Terry's life, either in this world or the next. And He knows how this will turn out...and who will be responsible.
Nothing will seperate God from his children.

I am heartsick over this.....we are having a hard time believing all this is really happening. A nurse who cared for Terri as recently as 2003, said Terri's husband was angry when she wasn't dying back then, and asked the nurse "Is the B...... dead yet?" When a hospice started questionning his motives, he would move Terri to another one. Shopping for one that would acquiece to his wishes.
Angry? You bet, but all we can do is ask for His will to be done, and accept. I confess to getting more angry at things like this and politics than is probably good. Like Jack said in a post "no use in getting angry" the plan is on track so to speak. Jesus, help us deal with this, and comfort Terri. Amen

The comments made by the Govenor of Florida today is really something to consider with makeing these type life and death decisions. We should all be willing to afford terri the same basic rights people on death row are!!!I can not imagine the anguish her parents have already had to endure, they certiantly need everyone's prayers. We all should have a prayer vigil and fast for them.Prayer is power!
