Original Daily Intelligence Briefing
Member Comments:
Jack,
You've summed up the situation very well!
I encourage you and all members to look at this week's podcasts at Prophecyinthenews.com. Dr. J.R. Church has discovered hidden prophecies in the verse count of the bible that are fascinating.
If you count verses starting in Genesis 1:1 as year 1 in the Hebrew calendar, you'll find the rebirth of Israel in 1948 (Hebrew year and verse count 5708) in Deuteronomy 30:5. There are many other verses that match historical events.
Best of all, the signing of the peace treaty and start of animal sacrifices is supposed to take place this Hebrew year 5770 which ends on September 8, 2010 according to Deuteronomy 32:17!
It's time to start lifting up your heads!
God bless,
Lorenzo

Everything seems to be pointing to Christ's imminent return. We shall not know the day nor the hour; but we'll know the general time-frame. I haven't reviewed Lorenzo's post; but I wouldn't be surprised if it does happen within a year...everything seems to be speeding up; just like the birth pangs Jesus spoke of.

Jack, you wrote:
"Even though the UN is officially atheist, it cannot stand the idea that Israel is the Chosen People of God, even if they were chosen by Israel's God. The world rejects Israel's God in favor of the concept that God is whatever the rest of the world wants Him to be."
Even though this is completely true, and God told us this would happen, I think that it is so sad.
In the natural, it just seems like Israel and the Jews, are hated, just because they are alive. But; I know that God knows all this, and they are the apple of His eye. One day, it will all be better.
God Bless and thanks for all that you put into the briefings.
Shelley

Well said, as always Jack. I myself have been reading tidbits on the "Goldstone" report this past week. I came to the same conclusions. I was wondering if or when you were going to cover it.
I had a client that came in today, her mother was Jewish and her father was a Syrian Muslim. Both her parents kept their "religions". But that said from what she has told me they had a pretty good marriage, go figure. On top of that they sent her to Catholic school while she was growing up in New York, because it was the "best" school. And you ex-Catholics here think you had it bad. She told me it was pretty tough. She also told me she went to Julliard as a ballet dancer. She has an interesting background of life, to say the least.
I never knew who she was in that regard until I began to talk to her and she told me about herself. People with her back ground and DNA fascinate me. Anyhow, when she comes in I always bring the conversation around to Israel. I was telling her about the “report” and how one-sided it is. She said to me: “It’s never going to end.” talking about the conflict in the Middle East. I said to her, ‘Not until the Lord comes back to Israel and declares it His.” She said, “And even then they won’t see.” Fascinating, this woman has not made any kind of commitment toward any “religion” and she came up with that.
Hal’s on in ten minutes, gotta run
P S This woman is old, well, not as old as Hal, but much older than Jack.
Does Hal ever read this? Maybe it will get him to bring his dog in, he can punch me in the nose then.

My wife, Robin, and I, just minutes ago, were talking about this (end-time prophecy). About the burden of us who see what is coming down, or going up. (Depends how you look at it.) But, I know about that "burden" of what we see. I myself had it in my mind many years before I became a Christian. I always felt something was about to take place. New age sounding you say, yep. That was me then, but I'm a Christian now.
So Jack, I think Hal could add to this also. What do we say to our kid's about their future? I have a twelve year old son and a ten year old daughter. Christian friends have told me: "your kids are saying that the world is about to end because of the "Rapture" so they don’t need to think about what they want to be when ‘they grow up’ or what type of person they want to marry!” This dilemma confuses my wife and I, our children, AND our Christian friends. Again, I ask you, what do we say to them?
I know Jack, Hal, of what I ask, but you both have been here before me as far as having young kids. I'm just asking you to reflect back on those times and advise freely. It would be appreciated greatly.
Anyhow, think about it.
Dan

Dan you should get your kids into Full-Time Ministry so they can store up Treasure in Heaven and do good at the Bema Seat.
If their doing Ministry when the Lord Returns - That is a Great Reward
It's always a Treasure and it's even a Command to be on the Watch For The Lord To Return. But like Raul Riese just said, we still have to make a Living. However he may of said to be Heavenly Minded - If he didn't - Being Heavenly Minded is still the right mindset (with making a living or just trusting the Lord )

These are two good verses:
To Live is Jesus to Die is Gain & This one:
I count all things as Rubbish, on the account of the Excellency of The Knowledge of Christ Jesus.
><>
You should see if they would maybe want to go into full-time Ministry or Missionary Work - Maybe Traveling around showing the Jesus Film -- www.jesusfilm.com ! - You could maybe sponsor them as Missionaries with the Jesus Film - Maybe $500 + a month - Just tell them not to get any Credit cards or loans, so this way they will have no worries on the Mission Field
--
Tell them Marriage is Good but also tell them this:
If a Grain of Wheat Falls to The Ground and Dies, it Beareth Much Fruit.

Dan Here's some excerpts from a Print-Film/Negative Master Copy Page I would maybe call it, from the Book of Revelation 1:1-3 from either the 3 or 4 Hundred Dollar Bible Stuff in the Link in the Member's Forum:
"Every generation of believers must look for the return of Christ. This is exactly what He commands. He teaches that He can return any time; therefore, we are to obey Him. We are to Expect His return, watch and be ready for it. But we must also realize that He may not come today. Therefore we must plan and establish long term ministries upon the earth so that the lost can continue to be reached for Christ. The proper attitude is this: we must be expecting Christ to return today, but we must plan as though He will not come for a hundred years."
"But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Heb.5:14)
This Bible is a Pastor's Bible I would maybe say - so these guys don't care about anything except The Sheep and I would say Saving Souls.
I heard a guy on the radio this week it may of been, he said something like: "You Have to Have a Burden For the Lost"!
p.s. good post by you up there
