Amen Jan,

God is has a plan. WE are the adopted children of Israel, we share a future with them. It seems that people forget that Jesus was a jew.

Romans 11:17-27

17If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in." 20Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.
22Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

All Israel Will Be Saved

25I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. 26And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
"The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27And this is[6] my covenant with them
when I take away their sins."[7]

God Bless Israel,

James

I would say that May, 1948 is all the evidence that one would need to prove that Replacement Theology is wrong.

How else do you explain a bunch of Jewish farmers and scholars taking on multiple armies and winning? Not just defending what they had but even taking more land?

The odds of the Jews winning in various wars were such that it made the Alamo look like a fair fight, but God delivered Israel in spite of the numbers.

To me that is no coincidence, that was and is the Hand of God working out His plan for the ages.

The "elect" is Israel, we know that 1948 was a miracle that even unbelieving historians admit to, made believers out of many, but it is not the church that Jesus speaks of in Matthew 24.
Mt 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

This gathering of all Israel is yet future.

Many of these replacement folks are just going to get some bad news to find that they are not even adopted.
Mt 7: 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Just came across these verses doing some daily reading and started wondering again how replacement theology folks maintain their view...it truly baffles the mind.

Jeremiah 33:23 - 26:

23 The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: 24 "Have you not noticed that these people are saying, 'The LORD has rejected the two kingdoms [4] he chose'? So they despise my people and no longer regard them as a nation. 25 This is what the LORD says: 'If I have not established my covenant with day and night and the fixed laws of heaven and earth, 26 then I will reject the descendants of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his sons to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will restore their fortunes [5] and have compassion on them.' "
