Original Daily Intelligence Briefing
1 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Member Comments:

So much of this briefing is like it was written for today. The uncertainty, the day to day feeling blue. Jack sure had a way of saying things straight; but also giving hope.

I still didn't like reading the part about his sickness; but who would, right?  None of us wanted to see Jack go away.
We do know, that Jack walked through that door to his real home with Jesus and the other saints. He is having the life that we are all meant to have and will soon.

Thanks for posting this one~

"They" say that absolutely no one is irreplacable!!!  As far as I'm concerned . . . Jack is the exception that allows that rule to stand albeit on wobbly feet!!!

I was thinking the same thing. We went to Isreal in the spring of 2009. Had the Niagara gathering later that year. Thank you Kari for all you do. I still look for & read the briefing everyday. It makes me feel like he's still with us. We love all y'all.

My apologies for the confusion.  I used the updated version of the 2008 original.  My only excuse is I got it ready at 5:30 am for today's posting.  No he wasn't sick in 2008. We only knew in Feb 2013.

This was a wonderful commentary, and hard to remember when Jack got sick.  But if I'm not mistaken, Jack was not sick in 2008.  Am I mistaken?  It appears to me that the date is wrong.  I went to the briefing on that date and it does include his talking about his illness, but of 25 comments, not one said anything about Jack's telling us he was sick.  It was the shock of the election that everyone was talking about.  Comments anyone?
