GOD BLESS OUR MEN IN UNIFORM. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BE A SOURCE OF SUPPORT FOR THE RETURNING SOLDIERS. THEY DO NOT DESERVE THIS PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSAULT BY THE MEDIA AND THE FORCES FOR EVIL.
GOD GIVE US STRENGTH TO WEATHER THIS STORM AND THE ONES BEHIND IT.

Jack you missed the mark regarding your Dixie Chicks comment. Not Ready to Make Nice is the name of the new single and it addresses the uproar that took place after her comments. The album is NOT an anti-war album. There isn't a single song dealing with the war. Instead you will find songs dealing with Alzheimer's Disease, love and loss, etc...
Please check your facts before you write. Additionally, it was more than three years ago when the Dixie Chicks made their comment - it was about the president - not a smart move. However, in the same breath the Dixie Chicks did say they SUPPORTED our troops. Unfortunately, that seems to get lost with the media. It's more fun to stir up controversy I guess.

Hi Bill
I have certainly reported that the Dixie Chicks claim to support the troops but oppose the war.
If it is possible to support the troops and oppose their mission, I suppose one could summarize it thusly; "Best of luck. Hope you lose without getting killed."
That's pretty much the same thing Tokyo Rose used to tell our Marines in the South Pacific.
One stirs up controversy by expressing a controversial opinion. One could classify American citizens going abroad to criticize their government 'controversial', but since I didn't do that, I don't see how I am stirring up anything.
Except maybe a little appreciation for the forces now in harm's way earning the Dixie Chicks' right to insult their efforts.
