Would we be this bad off if the current administration hadn't done all of these bailouts and stimulus bills, or would we still be headed for catastrophy?

I think that we would still be in the same mess Becky even if our government had not approved all those stimulous packeges.  They just advanced the problem a few years making it almost impossible to stop the mess now.

 I was going to say the same thing Mark! 

"Never-the-less this country is a beautiful site to see and in contrast to the pain of its people so majestic."

 And one day soon our God will be back in control of it all for a thousand years; after that, a new heaven and earth. I wonder what that will be like, awesome! Enjoy your travels Ed, in spite of what you find. Thank you for taking the time to inform us here at the OL.
