6 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 9 PrayingPraying

"an impossibly large number to now manage. Impossible." You said it, Ed!

Ed, my prayers are with you and your entire family. You are a good son; the Holy Spirit is with us all. Thank you, Ed!

Well Ed not alot to worry about but lots to think about.  Thanks for this latest one.  Global Economy just around the corner.  I hope I see all this transfering of wealth from the nose bleed seats.

"Ancient Greek Spartiate rulers used the bondage of debt to rule the underclass Perioeci  (i.e. the working class tax payers) and the Helot slaves (who they systematically murdered for any rebelliousness activity) .

Today’s drama is a classic axiom of history repeating itself."

Today's drama has WMD's and the internet to add to the combination.

Excellent article Ed.  I have been praying for you and your family--amen to Dan's post. The coming economy is scary, but I'm with Kari.  (hmmm...that rhymes!)  Betsy

Thank you so much for your prayers.

My mother quietly slipped away to her Heavenly Father last night.  And, while there is nothing as sorrowful than losing your mother my last moments with her were among the most endearing and joyful moments of our relationship.  We both knew her journey to her Father was going to give her eternal life, free of pain and suffering - and we would be together again in the future.  So it wasn't goodbye.  It was we'll see each other soon.

Ed, I'm just catching up on things after being mostly absent last week.  I am so sorry you lost your mom, but I am also blessed by the fact that she only went Home, and you will see her again, and soon.  May you feel God's love, peace and joy through this time.
