I'm so thankful that you are a regular columnist in the OL. Like Jack says "we expect all politicians to lie" and they do. Therefore, where do we get the truth from? I don't really know a whole lot about economics and that's exactly why your column is so great to me. You are a source of truth in a world that's gone off the deep end.

Ed, it's been really busy here at work.  January was the best January ever for the company i work for.  and february is going really well too.

it's been a combintation of things.  first, we sell PC's.  and that's all we sell so we're specialists.  the supply line has been rough.  we're seeing shortages in parts but that's something we can normally manage.  however, what i've been noticing is the big players in this market are losing customers fast because they can't source parts.  we've had quite a few "dell can't get me this, how fast can you get it for me" questions.  and since our needs are few we can get parts when the big boys can't.  however, being this busy isn't normal and it's leading to it's own headaches...

and lastly, we had our first "sale" in the 20 years we've been in existence allowing people that wouldn't normally have been able, or willing to even try, to buy one of our systems.

i know the hammer is going to fall i just don't know when.  normally this would bother me to no end but, i am purposefully trusting the Lord.  it keeps me smiling.

Great Reagan quote, Ed! Hey, I do feel like I'm in the "Twilight Zone." But I know, the morning dawn is coming soon. It's all inevitable and beyond our control. Pray for the unsaved, then pray for the Rapture.
