The Phantom of the Opera was the only Opera I ever saw live. I suppose it was a bit dark and in someway maybe even did glorify evil. I did like the guy that played The Phantom, awesome voice! My sister used to make me watch musicals when we were kids, back in the days of having only one TV my older sisters usually won what we watched. I hated The King and I, even as a kid I thought Yul Brynner had to be gay,LOL (He wasn't, he was married 4 times) I guess The Wizard of Oz will always be cool, though. It was good to read a recent article by you Becky!
