Wendy great article. I am one who believes that the Old testament and hebrew text reveals all the mysteries.

My grandfather (my dad's dad) always said (and i'm sure he didn't coin it) that the New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed and the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed.  I always liked that and i can hear him saying it now in my head.  He had a nice manly voice.

When i'm reading Isaiah i see that verse and my heart jumps... and it never stood out before i got saved.  I think that is interesting don't you?  Without Jesus the OT doesn't make a whole lot of sense aside from nice (accurate) glance at history but with Jesus...

We are blessed.

Warren, "The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed and the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed" is St. Augustine.

Thanks Wendy. I also have thought this Isaiah verse refers to the rapture. This makes it even clearer. Looking up!
