And her Moma Cries, Theres Elvis for ya, he nailed that line. Hang in there Wendy, It will take awhile to find the new mother you will have to become, The one that has to Mother young adults, from afar. But the good news is This is the road that leads grandchildren, and they are gifts from Heaven Gods reward for your efforts with your own children.

Thank you Wendy for sharing.  My kids have been in Mexico for the past few weeks with their Grandparents.  I can't wait to see them and I pray that God brings them home safely but I also know that the quiet my wife and I have been enjoying lately will be immediately destroyed.

The Lord has helped me with my anger problem thankfully but noise is still a trigger.  Well more specifically the high pitched shreiking my kids are capable of...

I can't wait to see them so feel a bit of your pain.  God Bless !!!

Comments: Dear Wendy,
I can identify. My oldest son (25) moved to Milwaukee a year ago and my youngest son (my baby - 22) just got married in July. He really helped me with the transition by announcing every "last." "My last two weeks at home." "My last night in my bed." (Yes, the wedding was very emotional). I'm just so thankful to God I get to spend eternity with them. (Yeah, I know - in the meantime - but maybe the meantime isn't going to be so long?).

Thanks for your article. I enjoy them all - science or otherwise.
