11 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 6 PrayingPraying

Thank you for the great history lesson, JL.  God continue to bless you with/in His Truth!

Happy Reformation Day!, yesterday, as I'm just getting to this today, All Saints Day, Nov.1.  Having been raised Catholic, I do appreciate some of the liturgy, etc.  It gave me a good start as a "Protestant".  Thank you, Martin Luther!  October 31, 1517 was a great day in history.  Being of German descent (my dad had no love for Catholics, but when he married my Italian/Catholic-raised mother, we kids ended up in Catholic school for several years.  LOVE Romans 8:28!), it pleases me to know about this man's conviction in posting his 95 Theses on the Wittenburg Palace church door.  Courageous for sure!

Glory to God, always!

Thanks for responding, Linda. You are right. The early protestants were brave souls to confront the Church. Devout Christians seem to be brave, especially if they live in Islamic countries at the present time. I went to Catholic School in the 6th grade. I think I was a "problem" child and needed some straightening out. It was one of the best years of my childhood, I loved all the nuns and they loved me back and I learned a lot about God. Thanks again for writing.  Jerry
