8 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 6 PrayingPraying

Another outstandingly informative article Wendy!!!  However . . . something puzzles me. You wrote "the rotation of the earth is slowing down".    How does that fact correlate scientifically with (my age notwithstanding ) days and events "speed" seemingly increasing exponentially?

Thanks for sharing that, Harry! I have actually been collecting these kinds of quotes for an apologetics class I was asked to teach and I don't have that one. Thanks!

Comments: The 17th century mathematician Pascal once wrote:
"If there is a God, He is infinitely incomprehensible, since, having, neither parts nor limits, He has no affinity to us. We are then incapable of knowing either what He is or if He is ... you must wager. It is not optional. You are embarked. Which will you choose then? Let us weigh the gain and the loss in wagering that God is. Let us estimate these two chances. If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager then without hesitation that He is."
“There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.”
Blaise Pascal 1623-1662
