8 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 5 PrayingPraying

Member Comments:
An argument I hear all too often. Clear cut OT promises outright disgarded for theological and political expediency. Another thought, is that Amillennialism and Preterism, were birthed in an era when there was no Israel. So yes, there is some history to them, but that is not necessarily a good thing. Well said Alf!

8 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 6 PrayingPraying

Comments: Well, the church will be gone during the trib, but if the amillenialists and preterits want to stay behind, that is their choice. And while the church won't be around to be purified, hopefully their theology will be "purified" during that time and they will be able to lead others to salvation.

And not all Christians believe this way. We just found a wonderful little church in Madison, WI, of all places, that prays for the peace of Jerusalem. It is little, but the earnest prayers of the righteous availeth much. Thanks for the article, Alf. Don't grow weary, we are praying for you, too! Keep looking up!
