12 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 5 PrayingPraying

Member Comments:

Wendy . . . once again with your fascinating commentary you've affirmed the veracity of God's Word in Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 . . .

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done
is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new?
it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

So Wendy I assume you are our Science Editor.  It's great because all of our writers bring a different and unique blessing to the OL Family.  Maranatha!

Love it! No matter how hard science tries to "prove" God doesn't exist all they end up doing is confirming God's word. The sad part being they don't even realize it. As you've mentioned before Wendy, the man who said "A little science estranges a man from God. A lot of science brings him back." was right on the money.

Comments: Absolutely fascinating. Which of the ten did the Rabbi consider knowable and why?

Ten is a very interesting number in the scriptures. There are ten commandments to create the nation of Israel; ten Promises to Abraham for the covenant of Grace and ten Promises of the Holy Spirit for the Church. You can read more about this here: http://thealmondrod.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/the-power-of-ten-and-bit-of-catching-up.html

I have been trying to figure out what made Ramaban come up with the four knowable vs 6 unknowable without any luck. If anyone knows or finds anything please let me know!

Comments: In 2008 Chris Matthews got "a tingle up my leg" when he was tripping over himself professing his adoration to obummer. The information that you shared here is the stuff that sends a tingle up mine...namely the absolute truth that IS the Word of God.

Wendy:  Wonderful, as always!  I wish you could write an essay every day - I love God's universe and can't wait to experience the "other" 6 dimensions.

Thank you Wendy, a most fascinating read.

You asked, 'Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?'

Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,

Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.  Job 42:3
