Comments: Wonderful article Wendy. I always enjoy your articles. I am sure you are aware of this.(If I am not mistaken, I think you wrote an article on the Gospel in Genesis in the past.) Chuck Missler advises that if you go back to the original root meaning of the name "Methuselah", "that Muth, a root meaning death and shalach, which means to bring or to send forth. The name Methuselah means his death shall bring" Just another piece to the glorious puzzle.

I remember hearing that too, Donald. In fact I think it was said that right after Methuselah's death is when the Flood came and since he lived longer than any other human (listed in the Bible) at 969 years, it shows God's patience with us!
