Wendy . . . Your commentary reminded me of many many years ago reading about a pastor who was accidentally discovered sitting in his study beside a globe of the world praying and crying as he spun the globe.

A sobering "call to arms" for every Christian!!!

Comments: Hi Wendy,
An excellent article. Very insightful! I think that the hardest part of these realizations that your coming to, is returning to the church in America to see how she is so blindly embracing all of these systems that have deceived so many.
I know just what you mean about knowing the fields are white unto harvest, yet finding it difficult to get into the fields to work. May God grant us a sense of urgency as we see the days growing ever more evil. Thanks for this reminder.

Comments: Awesome article, and awesome trip too. I ask myself that question every day as my heart aches...what can I do. Starting somewhere I pray unceasingly and ask of the Holy Spirit that question. I pray for the lost.

Seems of late, the lost have been on my heart as well.  More than usual, things that I have read cover that subject. I read this, below (from Jack Kelley) about a week ago, and though I know about heaven and hell, this really hit me.  That once this life is over, there is NO SECOND CHANCE.  Eternity is just that, "eternity".  I think sometimes it is easy to overlook that; but we don't have the option of lots of time anymore.  We should be sharing the Good News!

Good Commentary, Wendy.  Thanks.

God Bless,

From Jack Kelley:

What About People In Hell?

Tuesday, September 1st, 2015

Q. My question is about people in hell. How can unbelievers be in torment if they are not in human fleshly bodies? Wasn’t the Rich Man in agony in the flames? How could a spirit be in agony from flames? And in the Lake of Fire, human fleshly bodies would be immediately destroyed in flames once and for ever. So do unbelievers in the Lake of Fire have resurrected bodies too?

A. From the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31) we know that even though people in Hades are in spirit form, they can see and communicate with each other and can feel things like heat, thirst, and torment. This tells us that while spirits are not material beings in our world, they apparently are in theirs. All this is outside our experience, but the Bible confirms it is so.

Those who are cast into the Lake of Fire will also be in a form that can feel the effect of the flames without being consumed by them. Again, we’re not told whether this form is what we would think of as a resurrection body, but it does seem to have similar properties to one, in that it’s both eternal and subject to external stimulus.

Comments: Wendy, I understand the jist of your message, and I don't mean to sound mean or uncaring, but I am puzzled about something. When @1.6 billion muslims are praying to an incarnation of satan wth their butts up in the air, another 1 billion or so hindus praying to every creeping and crawling thing imaginable, yet another 1 billion or so catholics being led by a socialist in a white dress and beanie, and NONE of them wanting to know or hear the Truth, who exactly do we reach? I am honestly perplexed. I am grateful beyond description and totally undeserving of salvation, and know what the word says, but it seems like the window is almost completely closed in terms of reaching anyone. Again, I am not without compassion or pity, I just don't understand.

All we are asked to do is plant the seed. It can be a small seed. Perhaps another believer has already planted a seed and we add to it. The Holy Spirit takes it from there. Thanks for the great article Wendy. I have been where you are. Mars Hill stirred my soul.

Wendy.... wow. And yes how to get on the front burner. The harder I try the further behind I get! Staying in constant prayer. Seems our presence and speech are two tools that can be used to influence others.. so keep on looking up and the Holy Spirit pour down and leak out!

Comments: I've found that there are young people out there who know nothing about Christianity (and they're not readers), or folks who have a distorted view of it due to bad televangelists, etc. The biblical ignorance I see takes my breath away. So I use tracts. Chick tracts, specifically, because they really DO get read--people like the artwork. When I walk the dog at night I'll put them in the driver's side window of cars. People hate to lose face in conversation. Tracts let them read without having to defend their viewpoint. I've been lazy about it recently. I'm going to order some. I was saved after reading a tract.

Comments: I agree, Grace. I have been lazy lately, too. I just ordered some more tracts Tuesday. It really isn't hard to pass them out. Glad you were saved by reading one. I don't know anyone who got saved by my handing them out, but maybe in heaven I will meet someone. Maranatha!
