Comments: Wendy, only you would know that there actually WERE Jews in Western Tennessee in 1863. I can picture it now: "Shalom Alachiam y'all!". Irreligious of me? Absolutely, but considering whats going on, I needed a little chuckle your example led me to today. Stuff is getting darker by the minute, and laughs are getting fewer and fewer. Keep up the good work.

Thanks again! Martha-- that is the tragedy of Christianity today, I think , that people don't read it.  They have a few favorite verses and then they sign up for faith as "fix me" class they can find.  A recent Gallup poll found that almost every christian polled said they were doing well at living our their faith, but almost none said they were doing well ad reading their bible.

I think God called that zeal without knowledge.  And condemned it.  Which explains a lot in 2015.

And Michael,  you make me laugh, and I always need it too.  And by the way, my trivia teamed changed our name to Einstein and the Four Dimensions....
