"But now I'd like to turn the responsibility around to the unbeliever." Thank you, Alf. And as far as I know, Penn Jilette is still an unbeliever. So, he isn't going around evangelizing. Nonetheless, I agree with his point.

I try to steer conversations to the spiritual whenever I am with people. All I can say is, I used to have a lot more opportunities. And I used to have a lot more positive conversations. But again, that doesn't mean we shouldn't share.

When I was younger I thought science would come up with a way to let us all live forever. Thankfully, the Lord found me. But, I have to wonder if a lot of people today, both young and old, with all the technological advances, aren't in denial and believing the same thing.

Comments: It seems to be true that the opportunities to evangelize are becoming fewer. I can hardly open my mouth before I'm shut down. While it's our duty to proclaim the gospel, God is the one Who opens the ears and the hearts in response to the message. Preaching is our responsibility. Salvation is God's. Good article.
