6 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Member Comments:
The most important responsibility of any president is to protect the rights of the people as enumerated in the Constitution. If Trump can do at least that much, we can't go too far wrong. But will he? Like Obama, he has no past voting record that we can check. He wouldn't need to complete all his promises while in office, but if he could make a start in securing our borders it would be a step in the right direction. His criticism of the physical appearance of women with whom he disagrees shows me he's pretty immature. I don't have high hopes for America's future no matter who wins this election. I like Rand Paul, but he's not the man his father is. Oh well, Thy will be done, Lord. We know how it ends.

Comments: Great article, Pete. I heard that Huckabee and I think Cruz and Rubio and maybe even Kasich (sp?) are for big government. So, so much for trusting any of them. But, I wholeheartedly agree. Trump is a total disaster. Appealing to emotion just like BO before him, but unlike BO, his agenda may only be about promoting himself. Either way, it benefits not We the People.
I hope Gracemer is right and it is the Rapture that takes us down. Maranatha!

Comments: America may not appear in last days prophecy either because we imploded economically, or were destroyed by enemies, or because the super volcano in Yellowstone erupts or because of the Rapture. I know that many Christians have turned away from the truth and are following after false teachers. I also know there are still millions of genuine believers in our country even though we are mostly middle to low on the income scale and politically impotent. When Jesus calls for His church, America will be well and truly done.

Comments: I can't believe I am saying this, but the only person running for President that has been totally transparent the entire time has been Uncle Bernie, not that I would ever vote for him. You know WITH CERTAINTY he is a Socialist, and he makes no excuses for it. Nobody on either side has been this open or honest. To be perfectly blunt, Cruz, Rubio, Huckabee, Kasich, etc. have made me extremely nauseous the way they are trying to "Out-Christian" each other to get that block of votes. Personally, I believe the time for worrying about if the "leader" of this country is Christian or not is gone. I firmly believe it is way to late in the hour for it to make any difference. The hour is late and we are not long for time on this rock.

The Lord gives us the leaders we deserve. He gave us Obama for 8 years.  During those 8 years has America turned its face to God or the opposite. Well I personally dont think the Lord will reward this nation after the last 8,  I think we will get something just as bad or worse. Trump could fit the bill.

I have always voted since I was 18 but my problem here is that if my realistic choices for POTUS are Donald or Hillary, I don't know if I can make that choice. That's like someone asking me if I want a hard slap to my face or a punch in the stomach. Gee, I don't know, surprise me.

Comments: Pete, I've always enjoyed your articles and insight. This time, you have hit the nail square on the head. Voters must do their homework and look at what each candidate has said and done over the years. Trump is pandering to the anger in the conservative ranks but he is not a conservative based on his words, actions, and who he has supported. Each voter needs to vet each candidate on their own since the media is no longer unbiased. The internet is a wonderful thing and if you said it or did it in the last 20 years, it's out there somewhere just waiting to be found. As Christians, we need to research the candidates to determine who really represents us, our beliefs, and our way of life.

Comments: I don't expect the "Trojan" horse to change his spots either. Wouldn't even surprise me if he celebrated his win with Rosie and Whoopee. They all bear the same rotten fruit and have a liar for their father

I couldn't agree more, a "Trojan" horse that isn't changing his spots. Heck it wouldn't  surprise me if he celebrated his victory with Rosie and Whopee.
