10 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Thanks Wendy, this is so amazing to see the ways God reaches out to us even when we are distant from Him. Causes me to wonder what distant people are in our path everyday that God would use us to reach. They don't have to be half way around the world to be distant from Him and seeking to know Him.

1 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

As a child, I and my little brother walked half a mile to our church to speak to the priest. (We weren't allowed to go so far at that age). We asked about our aunt who took care of us while our parents worked. She did not go to church with us. Would she go to heaven? I don't remember what I was told but I had a concern for the soul of another at even that young age.

This story of Gedeo trip is very encouraging. I have also heard of Muslims in Iran and parts of the Mideast who have had Jesus visit them in dreams. While I have not become a missionary (except to the mostly unsaved Pacific Northwest), I and my church support 3 missionaries - in Uzbekhastan, Madagascar and Zambia. All are originally from our area.
