Member Comments:
This was GREAT Alf,
I have been looking forward to heaven more all the time. This old world is getting terrible and I think The Lord is getting ready to take us home. I really enjoy hearing about things that have happened in my OL friends lives. Looking forward to meeting everyone in heaven.
God Bless you, Alf

6 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 3 PrayingPraying

Thanks, Alf. Ever since I became a Christian, and probably way before, I have been longing for heaven. Living with depression from my teen years until about 6 years ago or so (it returned recently, but only for a short stint, Praise God) will do that to a person, as I'm sure any debilitating disablement will. I don't think I have ever truly been fearful about going home. I watch expectantly, prayerfully, hopefully, and with (a lot) of help from God, patiently for His return.
Isn't the Body of Christ beautiful? Now that you shared your story I am filled with joy to think I get to meet and thank your mom and her friends who were all praying for you regularly, Alf! (I get to read your articles each week, in part because of them). And we will know each other. Too wonderful for words.
God Bless, Alf.
