7 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Member Comments:
It seems that a large percentage of Christians just aren't Bereans. If people are too lazy to read the Word, then preachers are at fault for not reading it to them. I mostly encounter Christians who acknowledge the rapture, but they either don't want it to happen just yet because they're enmeshed with this life or they're scared of heaven. They think it's going to be one long church service. The thought of being with the Lord and seeing Him face to face doesn't excite them. We haven't seen any real persecution in this country yet. When it comes, I'll bet they sing a different tune. Don't ever back down Pete (I know you won't). Walking with the Lord can be a lonely business.

5 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Comments: I am looking up and lifting up my head every day with great anticipation for the Rapture of the church. As things continue to get worse and worse here on earth, and we can see Bible prophecy happening, especially end time prophecy ie beheadings of Christians, Israel being lambasted on all sides etc, It is hard for me to understand how other Christians can't see that we are living in the time that has been prophesied about all through the Bible.
I find it most difficult to try and put myself in their shoes so to speak. I hate to say this, and I don't mean it to lift myself up, but some times I wonder "Does He know them?" If they don't believe in His word that has many areas that are plain to see, "Does He know them?"
It is a scary thought.
Another thought might be that the body of Christ is broken up into different groups with the Bride in one group and the concubines in another as is the case in the Song of Solomon.
Peter, I would love to have you comment on this.

3 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

AMEN to everything you said!  Lol, I had to chuckle at your first paragraph because it so aptly describes how I feel. I've learned to just keep my excitement of the anticipation of the rapture and current events to myself. That is why I so much appreciate your articles and others who I can relate with. It is a tremendous support and encouragement so THANK YOU very much! Keep on keeping on. Praying for you!
