Member Comments:
Your article reminded me of what Jesus said in Rev. 2:6 -- "But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate." When we have a professional clergy lording it over the laity, we're going to reap trouble. I'd like to see no "spiritual" hierarchy in the church, rather elders among us as examples and the Word of God as the sole authority--it's so much more difficult to subvert a group of godly men.

Comments: Alf, thanks so much for the uplifting article. So often I have been baffled by those in the Church who do not want Christ. If you don't have Jesus, what do you have? An empty shell of a "religious" lifestyle. Before I knew Jesus as my Lord and Savior I had no desire to be in a church at all. Now, I want Christ! Thanks again.

excellent alf and so true . these churches that are really so anti christ yet because the people want their sin and have no repentence churches like these thrive. you're right - their love is for themselves and the world and as Lou use to say "they leave jesus out on the back porch" (hope i remembered that right!)
