If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

1 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 1 PrayingPraying

Wonderfully put. I can't help but wonder if among us older generation, say born before Roe vs Wade how many of us were conceived in situations that now would be considered grounds for death. Out of the five children born to my biological mother, from 1946-1953 two of us would have been good candidates. One was aborted. How can this nation escape judgement from a Righteous and just God?

2 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Comments: Mr.Jerry, one of the conundrums I encountered in my 21 years as a Police Officer was how abortion was allowed at the same time there were and still are laws on the books pertaining to the murder of an Unborn child if the mother was killed while pregnant. It is especially confusing to me when "experts" of civil rights condone late term abortions, including the "right" to kill an unwanted child on the table, considering that "a woman's right" as well. It would seem to me murder is murder, but hey, what do I know...I am just an old fat white guy.

That is such a good question. My dad was getting out of WWII when mom became pregnant. They had very little money. Sometimes I wonder if I would be here writing this had abortion been legal. The difference then was, most everyone believe in God, I mean REALLY believed in God and abortion would have hardly ever been a thought.

I am glad that you and I made it.

Mike, abortion had a lot to do with me finding God. I paid for one in the early 70s. As I aged I never forgot it and finally it guided me to God and what abortion really is. There are many in that generation who have mourned over their participation. A man paying for it is surely as bad as a woman having one. Even though I know I am forgiven, it is and will always be difficult.

I agree about the confusion. If a drunk driver kills a pregnat woman and her "fetus" the charge is fetal homicide I think. Yet Planned Parenthood does fetal homicide daily.

God have mercy on us all is what I pray. Thanks.
