6 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Member Comments:
Thanks for the great work Alf. I imagine it must be at least a bit depressing to find so many "itching ears" that want a God that is more like a cuddly genie than the holy almighty creator that is found in scripture. I looked at your link for the "Baptist pastor". I feel sorry for anyone in his congregation. How can this man even be saved at all with with these beliefs? God bless you for all your work.

3 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 1 PrayingPraying

Comments: There's something to be said for observing God's set times (if we're observant at all) because those days are rooted in the Word and history. Then we wouldn't have to listen to the Easter and Christmas arguments. The anti-punishment reasoning that because we inherited our sin nature from Adam and therefore it's not our fault is the one I dislike the most--maybe because I find it hard to answer. I have an answer that satisfies me, but it sounds stupid to non-believers. I'd like to hear some input on this one. May God bless you and guard your heart and mind as you do battle with the forces of evil.
