Day 1 Sat. 3/21 Depart U.S. for Israel
Day 2 Sun. 3/22 Arrive Israel. Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, Israel, transfer to our hotel in the Galilee. Welcome dinner and orientation. Overnight Galilee.
Day 3 Mon. 3/23 Breakfast – Touring Galilee holy sites Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Tabgha, Mount of Beatitudes, Yardenit baptism site. Dinner and overnight Galilee.
Day 4 Tue. 3/24 Breakfast – Touring Galilee/Golan Banias (Caesarea Philippi), Golan Heights offering magnificent views of the Galilee region. Afternoon free for individual or group prayer, contemplation, fellowship. Dinner on own in Tiberias, evening Galilee Experience multimedia presentation.
Day 5 Wed. 3/25 Breakfast – Ascend to Jerusalem Beit Shean excavations, visit Nazareth Village, a recreation of how a small town may have looked during Jesus’ time. Via Jordan Valley, go up to Jerusalem, Israel’s eternal capital. Dinner and orientation at hotel, overnight Jerusalem.
Day 6 Thu. 3/26 Breakfast – Old and New Jerusalem
Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Via Dolorosa, Western Wall, Garden Tomb including religious service, Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, New City orientation drive. Free time for dinner, overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 7 Fri. 3/27 Breakfast – Dead Sea Descend from Jerusalem to the lowest point on Earth. Visit Dead Sea and Qumran - ruins of the ancient Essene settlement in whose nearby caves the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Ascend Massada, enjoy lunch and a swim in the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem to visit Mahane Yehuda outdoor market, time permitting, and welcome the Shabbat. Shabbat dinner at hotel. Overnight Jerusalem.
Day 8 Sat. 3/28 Breakfast – Shabbat Day of Leisure in Jerusalem Optional visit to Israel Museum or Old City of Jerusalem walk. Farewell dinner at hotel.
Late night departure to U.S. or Sunday morning departure, depending on flight schedules.
Day 9 Sun. 3/29 Arrival U.S.
